The FDA does not believe that women who take abortion pills deserve safe health care. I do.

As a woman who suffered the scars of a chemical abortion alone, with no one by my side, I am disappointed that the Food and Drug Administration last month avoided liability in the U.S. Supreme Court for its callous disregard for women’s health. But I’m so glad to know it’s not over yet.
Three states poised to hold FDA accountable after FDA aggressively removes its original protections for women who use synthetic contraceptives, harming countless women.
For now, the FDA will continue to put the profits of the abortion industry ahead of women’s welfare, even though 1 in 25 women who use abortion pills end up in the emergency room. While the FDA cites data on a doctor’s in-person care during an abortion pill, hospitalizations increase by 300% without an in-person visit.
But women are more important than the political agenda or the cash grabs of drug makers. Women deserve excellent health care and a doctor’s personal care when taking dangerous drugs.
>>> Supreme Court Rules Abortion Pill Case Doesn’t Stand. What happened now?
Absence of ovarian pregnancy in women; The FDA requires at least a return to the primary care physician for an in-person visit to make sure you are not bleeding profusely or facing another life-threatening situation when taking chemical abortion drugs.
Sadly, Based on a legal technicality, the Supreme Court declined to address the merits of a case that sought to hold the FDA accountable for neglecting women’s health. But that may change in the future.
one’s views on abortion; safety of women; Look at health and wellness issues independently. On the cold bathroom floor or in the dorm room, our daughters, these dangerous drugs. All mothers and sisters should agree. Women should unite to call out the hypocrisy of women saying that the FDA cares about women and demands that they do better.
I know firsthand that those who have had chemical abortions alone have held lifeless babies who bled to death and didn’t know what to do with.
FDA v. FDA. While the Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine has escaped accountability, we know that the agency’s reckless actions cannot be ignored forever in a case in which Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys represent four doctors and four medical associations seeking to restore protections for women. As women across this country, we come together to stand up for other women because it’s important to women’s health.
No federal agency is above the law. If any other agency demonstrates a reckless disregard for our health and well-being in any situation other than abortion. There will be a great uproar. But in this case, because people are afraid, women suffer while drug companies continue to reap the financial benefits of promoting women’s health.
Enough is enough.
I don’t want another woman to suffer from the FDA’s current policies of taking chemical abortion pills alone without being tested for severe bleeding or a life-threatening infection.
>>> Judges rule plaintiffs lack standing to challenge FDA’s promotion of dangerous abortion drug;
abortion pills An abortion clinic worker assured me a few years ago that it was a “safe and easy way” to end the life of a child my boyfriend didn’t want. Just take two pills and don’t wake up in the morning. They promise…
In fact, I was blind, in pain, and bleeding, standing on the bathroom toilet, holding the amniotic sac, and looking into my fingers and the newborn’s eyes. Then I pushed myself down the toilet and a different kind of pain filled my heart and memories.
The pain and bleeding continued for over a month, but the doctor at the clinic did not check me or schedule a follow-up visit. No one warned me about the lifelong effects of post-traumatic stress disorder.
So I was surprised to hear the Supreme Court justices say that emergency room doctors have no right to question how my government’s FDA handles case after case. Thank you to the states of Missouri, Kansas and Idaho stand in the gap for women’s health and the FDA to continue its mission.
But I pray that these states will not be the same. I hope women from many political and ideological backgrounds will come together to make sure the FDA does better and doesn’t put health first. We should expect the FDA to understand why it’s okay to remove common-sense safety standards and leave home abortions alone, and why it’s no longer important for us to make sure doctors take care of us.
We can’t help but feel the voices of trusted clinicians who lie to us that these drugs are easy and painless. But now we have a voice. We should use it.
